The AI model needs to be downloaded to your browser the very first time you use the tool (approximately 40MB). Once downloaded, the model is cached by your browser, and subsequent images process much faster — typically in 2-5 seconds depending on image size and your device's processing power.
What image format is the output saved in?
The final image is saved as a high-quality PNG with a fully transparent background. PNG is the industry standard for transparent images and is compatible with all design software (Photoshop, Canva, Figma), website builders, and presentation tools.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes, but performance varies by device. Modern smartphones with decent GPUs handle the processing well, though it may take slightly longer than on a desktop computer. We enforce a 10MB file size limit to prevent mobile browser crashes.
